WTF! Minions Happy Meal toy really swears?
The harmless little creatures have been caught up in a profanity whirlwind thanks to diners sharing their tales online.
The success of those funny little yellow creatures has been growing and growing, but some parents have been stunned by the apparent swearing of a Minion toy.
McDonald's in the US have been giving out speaking toys with Happy Meals to tie in with the release of the new film, but shocked parents have taken to the internet to discuss what is being said.
One dad, Paul Butts, put a video on YouTube and explained: "This is a Minion we bought the other night. My daughter got a Happy Meal from McDonald's with a toy."
"Originally we didn't think anything of it until my wife this morning was moving it out of the car seat and heard something didn't quite sound right."
When Paul taps the toy, the words which come out sound like, “I’ll be damned” followed by “What the f***?”
Off-camera, he exclaims: "Seriously, out of a McDonald's toy?"
Grandparent Bradley Merten went to WFTV with a similar tale about the toy he bought for his granddaughter: "It turned out to be a toy that decided to talk profanity. I can't believe it's coming out of a toy."
In spite of the outrage, McDonald's have insisted that the words are nonsense, part of the Minionese language which the little guys speak.
